After the Quidditch World Cup, he broke for a bag of popcorn, returning to watch Harry triumph the demanding tasks of the Triwizard Tournament. As Voldemort rose back to life with his faithful Death Eaters right behind, Riley barked madly in worry of Harry's safety. He sadly whimpered through the deaths of Sirius and Dumbledore, then fell fast asleep, hoping to wake on the night of November 18th, just in time to delve into the next steps in Harry Potter's adventure.

Anxiously Awaiting
In anticipation of the upcoming premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One," Riley threw on his Potter-specks and began a long and strenuous recap of the films. He howled with excitement as Harry discovered his wizarding abilities, wagged his tail when Fred, George, and Ron pulled up to Harry's barred window with a flying car (easily his favorite part), and growled when Scabbers' true identity was uncovered as the evil and distressed Peter Pettigrew.

Always a Tar Heel fan!
Riley is loafing again. Here he is in his new University of North Carolina football jersey, watching the Tar Heels, his favorite team. Not pictured: Riley's reaction to a last-second field goal by Pittsburgh (this site does not condone profanities).

BTW: Happy Birthdays to Aunt Mary and Uncle Allen, and thanks for the awesome jersey!

Do these make me look fat?
Riley is hoping to find just the right color to augment his eyes. Oh it is so stressful trying to dress for the holidays!
